The 25 vehicles being produced are designed to compete in a special, three-day event, exclusively available to owners. The challenge around Eastnor Castle – two and a half hours west of London – is slated for the back end of 2021 (Covid restrictions permitting). As such they have been equipped to deal with the mud on would expect in the British countryside.
Each vehicle arrives in Eastnor Yellow with contrasting black wheel arches, bonnet and rear doors. Elsewhere LED headlamps, a heritage front grille and unique Land Rover Trophy badging further its sporting appeal. Inside the cabin, it’s a bit lusher, here, leather trims, a bespoke clock and Recaro sports seats find its place.
Aesthetics asides, the special edition packs a 5.0-litre V8 powertrain that puts out 298kW and 515nm of torque, delivered via an eight-speed XF automatic transmission.
Further, suspension, steering, braking has (thankfully) been upgraded to take on the extra strain while additions of a front winch, expedition cage, roof rack, underbody protection, raise air-intake, LED spotlights and mud-terrain tyres arrive attached to your choice of either 90 or 110 wheelbases.
Prices start from £195,000 for the short wheelbase 90 model.
