The TAG Heuer Calibre 5: An International Collaboration Extraordinaire

The Bamford Watch Department and Los Angeles artist Jonas Wood have teamed up with the Swiss house

Dover Street Market in Los Angeles was the setting as the latest sharply executed timepiece created by the Bamford Watch Department (BWD) along with the watch brands of LVMH – this time with contemporary artist Jonas Wood taking part in the collaboration – was launched.

A Military Grade Titanium Coating (MGTC), a patented BWD trademark, provides the Calibre 5 with that no-nonsense black finish that Bamford’s followers will be very familiar with – one that befits the high-grade automatic movement inside – while the dial is graced with a hand-drawn basketball design by Wood (the case-back of each, meanwhile, features his engraved signature).

The Dover Street Markets in London and New York will also be stocking the watch, or it can be purchased directly from the BWD website (POA, bamfordwatchdepartment.com).

“Jonas’s drawing on the dial gives us a truly unique watch that, I feel, will really stand out from the crowd,” commented Bamford.
