Phillips Asia To Hold Its First Ever Cross-Category Online Auction

Bidding takes place between 20th and 28th May.

Art, watches and jewellery will do battle for bidders’ attention, as Phillips – the celebrated global platform for buying and selling 20th and 21st century art and design – holds REFRESH:RELOAD, its first ever cross-category online-only auction, which has been assembled by its Asia team.

Highlights of the sale’s 180 lots will be exhibited in Phillips’ Hong Kong Gallery (by appointment only). Bidding opens on 20 May at 12am HKT and will begin closing on 28 May at 6pm HKT. The entire sale will be available to browse on Phillips.com.

“Our global Spring calendar this year is made up entirely of online-only sales and we have seen strong participation already,” says Delissa Handoko, Head of Online Sales, Hong Kong, Phillips. “At Phillips we have also seen a great deal of cross-category collecting, and as collectors’ tastes continue to evolve globally, we are excited to present this online-only sale. Curated in two complementary parts: ‘REFRESH’ embodies a more romantic and light-hearted aesthetic, bringing together colourful and fun contemporary artworks alongside elegant jewellery and timepieces. The second half of the sale, ‘RELOAD’, will see cutting-edge jewellery and watches offered alongside fresh, trend- setting art, editions and collectibles.”
